Mekorit is the market leader (>75%) in Israel and represents the breeding company Lohmann Tierzucht, based in Germany with over 60 years of experience in breeding egg laying hens. Lohmann layers are the global market leaders for excellent shell colour, weight and shell strength.

Teby's agriculture activity is located in Kibbutz HaSolelim, Israel, and holds under its "wings" several activities in the poultry industry including producing layers and broilers hatching eggs, day old chicks, hatchery operations and automatic egg collection systems.
